Cookhouse Recording Studios is located in Downtown Minneapolis in the historic Lumber Exchange Building. The Lumber Exchange Building is located on the corner of 5th Street and Hennepin Ave.

Are you coming from the Airport? Jump on our brand new Light Rail and we are the very last stop in Downtown Minneapolis.

Driving Directions:

From the South Metro?

Take I-35W North to the 11th St. Exit (Look for the Downtown Exits to get to 11th St.)

Take 11th St. to Hennepin Ave.

Turn right onto Hennepin Ave.

Downtown Auto Park will be on your right, before 5th Street (Lightrail street)

From the West Metro?

Take I-394 to the #9B (6th Street exit)

Take a left on Hennepin Ave.

Auto Park will be on the right side of Hennpin.

From the North Metro?

Take I-94 East to 4th exit.

Go Straight on 4th to 2nd.

Right on 2nd to 5th Street.

Right on 5th St. to the Downtown Auto Park. (STAY IN THE LEFT LANE On 5th Street!!)

From the East Metro?

Take I-94 West to the 11th Street exit

11th to Hennpin Ave.

Right on Hennpin Ave.

Auto Park will be on the right (after 6th st. and before 5th street).

Cookhouse is located in suite 440 of the Lumber Exchange Building on the corner of 5th St. and Hennepin Ave. The Downtown Auto Park is located on 5th St. and Hennepin Ave., across from the Lumber Exchange Building. Please take a right into the parking lot after you have passed the Plymouth Building. This is an outdoor lot right next to the Light Rail tracks.
